Once I figured it out, it was easy. But first installation I used a hdmi cable and connected to the 3rd connector and my computer would never sync up with the display. The display would just come up and then shut down into sleep mode. I almost gave up but then put the hdmi into the last (4) socket and it all started working correctly. Not sure if the 3rd outlet is bad or what. I don't have a Display connector on my laptop so I was unable to test that feature. All in all it seems like a nice monitor. Wish it had internal speakers. Instead it just has an audio port connector. For the price it it was a low cost alternative that met all the requirements I needed.

This monitor came with 1 HDMI cord so I connected it to my laptop after I plugged the power cord into the back and the other end into the electrical outlet. The name Selan came up on the screen then the words "No signal". I bought a DP cable and it was too big so I bought another one and only one end fits the port. I have tried using an adapter as well but it never worked. So I'm getting fed up with this piece of junk and tried to get my money back but the rude guy Earl from service and delivery told me there's nothing they can do because its past the return window and hung up. Didn't ask me if I needed anything else or had other questions just hung up. I've been an Amazon customer for a long time and the service just keeps getting crappier while the prices go up and the quality goes down. I'm pretty sure I've returned things that were over 30ds before so not sure why he said all Amazon products have a 30ds return window. But at this point I will just advise for anyone considering buying this. The price isn't bad but its definitely not worth it being sent a defective monitor and being out of $100.00. I can't afford to waste that kind of money so I will never purchase any big ticket items from Amazon ever again. I'm pretty sure Best Buy and other stores have a 90ds return window or will at least treat you like a valuable customer when you need help.

Seems to function as described. I am using it for a security system monitor. It would be nice if it had it's own on/off switch. I don't usually have the camera/monitor on 7x24. The one way I could turn off the monitor is to shut down the security system but that means I am forced into a startup script each time. Not worth the hassle. I may add a remote 110v switch to the outlet that I can control on/off much like the ones I have for Christmas lights, etc...Net- A built in on/off switch would be a welcomed addition.

Love this monitor! Colors are crisp and clean. Size seems larger than 24" but it still perfect! Setup was very easy although I questioned it because the stand didn't seem very secure and there seemed to be an extra screw that I have no idea what it goes too. No clear instructions, but fairly easy to figure it out. Great value for the money!
