This power supply works fine with my first generation Echos. I read the reviews prior to buying, and it does appear that someone did not notice Amazon uses multiple different chargers across their product lines, and you have to pay close attention to exactly which device you own!

Tried this with two Echo Gen 2 speakers. It did not power either of them on. I took a working charger and tested both Echos and it worked.
