Great Start to the 2025 Season – Solid Box with Fun Pulls The 2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball Trading Card Retail 20 Pack Box was a fun and exciting break that set a good tone for the new season. Topps always does a solid job with Series 1, and this box had a nice mix of base cards, inserts, and a few surprises that made the experience worthwhile. The base card design this year looks clean and modern, with sharp photography and good use of borders that really highlight the action shots. I also appreciate the player selection — plenty of stars, rookies, and even a few underrated names that collectors will enjoy seeing. The print quality seems consistent, with no noticeable off-centering or surface issues in my box. As for the inserts, there was a good variety sprinkled throughout the packs. I pulled some of the 1989 throwback designs, which are a great nostalgic touch, and a couple of parallels that stood out. While I didn’t hit anything super rare like a big autograph or low-numbered parallel, the assortment still felt balanced for a retail box. It’s the type of product where you may not strike gold every time, but the chase and the variety keep it fun. Value-wise, it’s fair for a retail product. You get 20 packs, which gives you a decent shot at building a strong start toward the base set and pulling some nice extras along the way. It’s also a great option for collectors who want to enjoy ripping packs without jumping straight into the higher-priced hobby boxes. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the “hit potential” in retail can sometimes feel a little limited compared to hobby formats. While I understand that’s the nature of retail, it would be nice to see slightly better odds for autographs or numbered parallels in a 20-pack box. That said, the enjoyment factor and the solid mix of cards definitely make up for it. Overall, this is a fun product for both seasoned collectors and newer fans looking to dive into the 2025 season. Not one special card. No autographs, no foil cards other than commons. All this despite the box telling me to look for all of these special cards. NOT ONE! $90 down the drain!!! Total waste of money!
