So I cut and hung this thing, being skeptical along the way. Nothing entirely blocks out AZ sun. Except this. Solid blackout in the room and yes it is cooler,imo, instead of 90 it's 88 type of cooler. Lol . I was amazed. Muffles noise? Meh, a bit.

This fabric has so many uses, and there's so much of it! Cut it to match a window, and hang it up with the included velcro stickers. The fabric is extremely light, yet strong enough to be totally durable, and it packs up really small. One side is black, the other silver, which could make a fantastic reflector for photography, and it could be as big as you want, which would create an incredibly soft, even, flattering light source. Flip it over to the other side for negative fill, for more dramatic lighting. I used it to make a sunroof shade for the car, and folded and glued the fabric back around magnets for instant installation and removal. And there's still so much left over for future projects.

I often work overnights so my sleep schedule gets really destroyed when switching from nights back to days. This really helps with making the room dark enough during the day because I have a lot of natural light in my bedroom. The material is like a grill cover (plastic-feel), certainly large and easy to cut, and conveniently comes with a measuring tape, pen and tool for cutting to size. Has magnets to attach to the window so you can put the curtain up and down depending on when you need to use it, which is nice. No need to buy permanent black out curtains!
