  • Good little amplifier
Just recieved this unit. The sound quality is much better than the Pyle brand I tried before. The instructions are very vague. The power button on the remote actually functions. Feeds my vintage Advent floor speakers perfectly. Just can't figure out how to access the 6 different EQ settings. So far it's a great little inexpensive amp. ... show more

  • Seems to work fine, but I was hoping it would playback my flash drive in the way it was downloaded.
I bought this to primarily listen to my music in my shop on a flash drive. I have over 2500 songs downloaded by different artists that I like, but I can only get this to play them by artist only, even though I can use the same flash drive in my truck and get it to shuffle the songs, which is better than listening to 30 songs by the same artist. The unit seems to be OK but it doesn't suit my needs, I won't be returning it as I am sure I will end up using it somewhere, ... show more

  • Poor sound
I had bad luck with this Daakro Upgrade AK45 mp3s Amplifier. The unit I got has poor sound: with full treble and bass, it barely sounds like an AM radio. And it fails to read some usbMem sticks. Effort, time and money wasted...

  • Working just fine.
My garage stereo started messing up. And I wanted something I could BT SiriusXM on from my phone. So bought this...honestly not expexcting much. From box to playing was about 2 minutes. BT paired easy. FM is ok. Sound is fine...it's a garage!

  • Bang For Your Buck?
More than adequate for the price, though nowhere near the advertised wattage. Good enough to drive bookshelf speakers in a smaller bedroom or on a desktop. Oddly, there is no socket for inserting the supplied FM antenna, (or rather, there is but it's for a different connector) but we don't really listen to radio, except in emergencies. The USB and Smart Card slots are cool, but there doesn't seem to be a way to navigate folders, even with the supplied remote. That's a bit concerning, but I can always just burn a playlist to the chip or thumb drive without the folders. Connecting a tablet with Spotify and Bluetooth pretty much obviates the need for screen navigation on the unit itself, and people who live on their phones won't miss those functions at all. So how does it SOUND? Fair to middling; it's possible to find more powerful receivers in thrift stores, used, for about the same price, but they won't be this compact or have these very modern features; on the whole, it may not make the earth move, but there's decent bang for your buck. ... show more

  • Adequate for the price
It's adequate for the purpose I purchased it for. The remote is a bit finicky. Sound quality is ok, don't expect McIntosh quality.

  • Sound clear no hiss.
Was pleasantly surprised, hooked up to Kenwood speakers i picked up when I was in the navy, very large. It rocks! Nice and clear
