The 2025 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle coin is a bullion coin struck by the United States Mint. It contains 1/10 troy ounce of 22-karat gold with a fineness of 0.9167. The obverse (front) design is the iconic "Walking Liberty" design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, originally created for the 1907 $20 Gold Double Eagle. It depicts Lady Liberty walking forward with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left hand. The reverse (back) design is the "Eagle Portrait" by Jennie Norris, introduced in 2021. It features a close-up profile of a bald eagle, capturing intricate details of its plumage and steely gaze. These 1/10 oz Gold Eagles are struck in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, meaning they have sharp details and no wear from circulation. They come encapsulated in protective packaging to preserve their pristine state. The 2025 1/10 oz Gold Eagle is part of the popular American Gold Eagle bullion coin series that began in 1986.
