I am very, very pleased with this tripod. It is surprising that at this price it has as many features as it does. I would expect things like the bubble levels, the swivel feet, the camera bag hook, the cell phone adapter and a carrying bag to only be included on a device that is much more expensive. Please take note that due to its light weight it may not be sufficient for a professional or someone with a heavy camera and large telephoto lens but it is more than adequate for the times that I need a tripod. I will be using it for taking family photos, mounting a laser level for construction projects and as a base for a lightweight spotting scope on a trip to Yellowstone N.P.

Works great with a portable web-cam. Very adjustable with the ability to get above the height that I needed, so I can just adjust it down. I love the phone/tablet adapter, and how it is a separate modular piece, giving me a lot of flexibility when doing up the audio/video for the zoom meeting or webinar that I'm responsible to host for the benefit of others.

I bought this yesterday. It arrived today. Right off the bat I was impressed with the packaging, including the little bag the tripod came in. This tripod is inexpensively built. Thus the price. I have a NatGeo tripod I bought several years ago that is of the same quality (and price). It has worked for me for years. I suspect this one will too. Ther is a LOT of plastic on this. Particularly in places that might be problematic (fasteners, hinges etc.). But like I said, I think it should be ok, even if used slightly hard, which is what I tend to do. What I like: It has a TON of adjustable features It has a huge verticle range, going from a tabletop tripod to a full-standing one (see pictures) It can configure pretty much any conceivable way It came with an iPhone holder, which was a great add It’s super lightweight, like my other tripod The connector for the camera looks and feels sturdy enough to trust There’s a little spring under the camera foot that helps push the foot up with you releast the lever. I think that’s smart SO far there’s nothing I don’t like about it. It’s a little rickety, but so is my NatGeo tripod. And as I said, that one has lasted for years. One think that might concern some folks. It concerned me at first. On the foot that you connect your camera to, there’s a little nodule thatm in the old days helped secure the camera. I originally thought this nodule would interfere with the camera when it sits on the foot. But, aha! that little nodule is also spring-loaded. So when you put the camera on it, the little nodule collapses into the food. Pretty nifty.

The sturdiness and quality for the price is excellent. I am a strictly amateur photographer who belongs to the Shutterbug group at my local senior center. I must confess to having never used a tri-pod and yet this fact presented no problem. The set up is easy and enabled me to set up in front of my kitchen window to take a couple remote photos immediately after opening the box. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

I like everything about this product. Light weight, feels sturdy, simple and straightforward to use. The only thing that I haven't had time to test is the fact of parts made of plastic. Will they hold up? Only time will tell if I have drop a star.

*I purchased this item as a gift for my sister. Unfortunately, it was missing the phone holder. It was an otherwise great tripod, but she was disappointed. So I contacted the seller. Let me just say, the seller got back to me quickly and sent a replacement that arrived the next day. They were very nice, and that just adds to my high recommendation.* Now for the review (written by my sister): When I received this tripod as a gift, I was elated! It’s my first tripod and for me, it’s amazing and more than adequate for every use I have had. As soon as I received it I tried it out, and have since used it almost daily. It’s a very nice tripod! Pros: -Easy to set up and use. -Sturdy and stable, with the ability to add extra stability via the hook for a camera bag, weight, etc. -The tripod pans smoothly! Both horizontally and vertically, the motion is smooth and easy. -The height is perfect for what it’s used for and would be an amazing addition for shoots including (but not limited to) events, portraits, and landscapes. -The camera bag included is durable and convenient. -The additional phone attachment is fun and functional. -It has an exceptional weight holding capacity and is sturdy when holding my 3+lb camera. Cons: -The screw that attaches the camera to the head of the tripod is a little short so it takes some getting used to in assuring tightness for stability. Actually, that’s the only con I can think of, and it’s not a dealbreaker whatsoever. I only have good things to say about this tripod, which has been a great addition to my journey in beginning photography.
