I dropped one star simply because it's not a true brand of the big D. That said, It does as stated and can be very handy. At 200 watts, you can not expect much. But it can add just whats needed during a power outage or when you want to keep you phone charged while hunting or setting up the blind. If you have the batteries, this will offer that little bit of comfort that's missing. Just remember to relax and play cards or a board game with the kids. This too shall pass. ... show more

This is exactly as it was described. It fit right on top of my DeWalt battery. I tried to run too big of a fan and my battery didn't support it for more than an hour. But when I plugged in a smaller fan into it it lasted for quite a few hours, possibly even overnight. I used it off and on so I'm not really too sure. Ok, so i like this product a lot for charging various things on jobs sites. I am giving it 4 stars, only for the fact that you have to really keep an eye on battery life. If you don't, you will run out of battery making your dewalt battery completely dead and unable to charge without "jump starting" it prior. But for quick phone charges and such, not an issue. The A/c outlet is only about 200 watts, and will run "wall wort" chargers and laptops. But it may drain the battery quite quickly. It will NOT power a microwave or other appliances because it is only 200 watts. The light is a nice feature, and this product definitely comes handy when power goes out for storms. ... show more
