This slip and slide is really large, and the kids had a lot of fun with it. and the material make it last a long time. I wish it had better stakes. The ones it came with just bent when I was trying to set it up. Also, it's just a big tarp, so the texture in it was hard on my kids' skin after a while. It will definitely still get a lot of use though.

The media could not be loaded. Clearly the seller has a typo on the product title. It should be "Slip and Slide Tarp", not "Trap". Knowing that it is a tarp gives you the right expectation. Others complain about it being a tarp, but I think that is not a bad thing. The kids had a ton of fun on this. I was initially concerned because it looked like a tarp, but after feeling it, the tarp material is actually smooth. It isn't as smooth as a plastic slide, but it still works well with the right setup. The kids used regular dish soap and a hose and had tons of fun. The thicker material is great for durability of the roughness of kids playing on it. I put the soap on it the first round and it got so slippery, I almost fell down as I was walking to the end of it. kids LOVED it, and was a great afternoon of fun. We did set ours up on a hill, which made it extra fun to go down. If it was 7-10 feet longer I would have given this 5 stars. For $20 the price seems right for what you get.

This is essentially a gigantic tarp that is 20 feet long and six feet wide. Set up your sprinklers and stick the (included) stakes into the ground and you have the makings of a lot of fun summer afternoons. Since I set this up in the back yard, we have become the most popular house on the block for all the kids to visit. Set up was pretty easy but it's a lot easier if you have another person to help. The tarp is tough and despite lots of kids rolling down and around on it every day, no signs of weakening or tearing thus far. While it's just a tarp, it's really more than that: It lets me kind of have my own water park attraction in the back yard. Every afternoon many joyous shouts and giggles can be heard in the back yard, it makes my heart smile. Childhood is so complicated these days, so different from when I was growing up. It sure is nice to know that some things never change: Kids can always enjoy screen-free fun in the water and sun, and this makes it easy to provide that in a safe place.

So it doesn't connect to any water supply. If you're looking for convenience this slide is not for you. I didn't mind it as it is just a tarp. It stays in place and doesn't move around. You have to have a constant water hose on it because the water gets washed off every time someone slides. It doesn't retain any water and is quick to dry. It is easy to clean and put away when you're done with it.

This "slip and slide" is a cheap blue tarp with a few lawn staples to hold it down, that comes in an unmarked plastic bag. That's it! It doesn't connect to a garden hose like a real slip and slide, it doesn't spray water down the length of it like a real slip and slide. It isn't smooth and slick like a slip and slide, it is a woven plastic, so even wet there is friction when kids try to slide on it, so they get red marks after a very short time. There are metal grommets along the edges for the metal staples to go through into the lawn, which would be very uncomfortable for a child to step on, or slide over! Will it outlast a real slip and slide? Maybe. But that isn't what this is. This is someone's idea to sell a tarp and pretend it's a toy, without any thought to safety or function. Amazon carries dozens of the real thing, for about the same price, this is a waste of money.

I of course realized when I ordered that it wasn’t a fancy slip and slide but this is overpriced for a long thin tarp calls a slip and slide I supposed because it’s long and thin. I didn’t really think when I ordered but you do need to provide a constant hose or sprinkler on it, the texture is rough, I’m not sure how I feel about the stakes as they could get pulled up just a bit then turn into a trip to the hospital pretty easily.

This is perfect for summer, but it is just a tarp. It is high quality and can withstand the summer heat, is incredibly easy to install, and a great size. You will need a hose or sprinkler with it. Super fun for all ages!

I ordered this for my grandson's 5th birthday party but we ended up not using it. The slide itself is made of thick quality plastic tarp with grommets to make it stay wheres it's supposed to. O really liked it came with U shaped stakes as those hold better than the others.
