I bought my Oreck XL (right here on Amazon!) because I let the professionals guide me; more hotels, motels, cruise ships and cleaning companies use them than any other brand. If you've ever been to the actual store to buy the bags, though, then you realize that you'll be paying a professional price. Sound familiar? So I was both surprised and delighted to find these here at an apparent fire sale price! I expected them to be a bit more flimsy, or maybe compromised in some way, but try as I might, I can't see any.... except maybe the weird color. (And when they're zipped up in the vacuum, who cares?) I even had an easier time attaching them to the inlet, something I have fumbled with when using "original equipment" bags. I didn't see any more dust inside the zippered vacuum bag than before. If I were being hyper-critical, I might wish the packaging was suitable to store them in, but at these prices, I'll use a paper bag. These really get the job done without breaking the bank!

These bags are slightly larger than OE. The bags have a filter lining the inside witch the OE does not. One thing I love about these bags is the door that keeps the dust down when changing a bag. The fit to the vacuum seems to be a bit tighter witch should help with filtering.

This set of 20 vacuum cleaner bags from Puresturdy arrives in a sealed plastic bag. They are almost identical to the Oreck brand bags I normally buy, except in color. The heavy duty three layer H11 filtration bags fit most Oreck XL vacuums. The description says it delivers premium performance that is 99.97% of particles at 0.03 microns. I'm not sure what that means but it does seem to trap most of the finer dust inside the bag and not on the inside of the vacuum. It also states the 630 cubic inches large-capacity bags capture more household dust and each bag holds up to 60 days of dirt which I think probably depends on how often you vacuum and what you're vacuuming up each time. If you have cats and a dog, there's A LOT of fur. I don't believe any vacuum bag could last 60 days at my house, so I'm giving it a pass on that claim. All in all, these seem to be a pretty good deal for 20 bags, even if they don't last quite as long as promised.

The vacuum bags came in a package all stacked upon each other in a clear wrap. They are a green color with cardboard for the opening. There was no smell of chemicals upon opening. The bags themselves are thin, but as of now work as they should. They are said to fit most oreck vacuum cleaners, and I have an oreck xl. I was able to attach this replacement bag with ease and everything fit as it should, and snapped into place where it needed to. I haven’t had any issues with them while vacuuming. These are a good off brand option if you are looking for a cheaper alternative.

These work great and fit my Oreck XL vacuum. These have three layers to prevent dust escaping and the outside material is heavy duty and resists tearing. These are less expensive and come in larger packs than name brand bags.
