The Prubovi LED Headlamp will certainly light up your life, moreover, it’ll blind you; looking directly into the light beam is analogous to looking at the sun. To say “it’s bright” is an understatement of epic proportions. However, its exuberant incandescence is equally matched by its vast utility, allowing the user to clearly light anything it’s point at, entirely hands-free. I’ve been using it for auto repairs, where changing a head light bulb can take the use of two hands in tight, dark spaces. Or using it to light your way during a night time bike ride or run. Even for providing a locating beam to direct alien spaceships; in fact, anything you can think of that needs light, while leaving both hands free. Just don’t look directly into it or point it directly at anyone’s eyes, unless they’re attacking you. The adjustable head strap is made of a soft, stretchy material, which, if my past experience with such material is any indication, is likely to become limp and not stretchy in due time; might be a weak spot in the design. The front lamp mount is hard plastic, with a concave contour meant to mold it to the forehead, and moreover, the soft fabric of the head strap wraps in front of it, to act as a cushion. Likewise, the rear battery holder is also contoured, with a soft rubber interior for comfort. I found the Headlamp comfortable to wear if adjusted properly to size. The lamp itself is built out of aluminum, with the front element push/pulled to adjust the focus of the beam. When focused to its most concentrated beam, it looks like it could burn a hole through whatever it’s hitting. There is s ingle button located at back top of the lamp housing with five contiguous positions: on/off, full power, low power, stroboscopic, a setting that could cause someone so afflicted to go into seizures. This headlamp is part utility, and part weapon; use it responsibly. The lamp head angle is adjustable upwards and downwards and conveniently and firmly ratcheted so that once set, it stays in place, even during rapid movement and hard jolts, for example when fleeing an attacker, you’ve just blinded. The headlamp also incorporates a “Sensor Mode,” that the seller says will allow turning the lamp on and off as well as switching modes. I was only able to get it to turn on and off using gestures, nonetheless, still a pretty neat feature. No directions were provided with the headlamp, so referring back to the Amazon point-of-purchase page is your best bet for any needed insight. The headlamp is provided with a USB-C to USB-A charging cable, and the unit can be charged by any available means, including a car charger, your phone charging block, etc. There is a charge state indicator on the back of the battery compartment. Interestingly, although I didn’t see any mention of it by the seller, the battery unit can be used as a power bank via a USB-A output; just reverse the provided cable and you now have a USB-A output to USB-C input. I used it to charge a pair of headphones, although be careful, since no output amperage or wattage is indicated, although it’s likely 5v. Overall, I have the impression of a very well built and sturdy device providing unlimited uses and just as much convenience. ... show more

Review Of: Rechargeable LED Headlamp, 100,000 Lumens | 10H Long Battery Life | 3 Modes | Motion Sensor | 90° Adjustable | Weatherproof | Zoomable Super Bright Headlight for Camping Running Cycling Hunting Hiking Price: $29.99 I do a lot of repair work in tight or dark spaces, so I am not new to flashlights or headlamps. By far, this is the brightest headlamp I have ever owned. It is also maybe the bulkiest one I have owned, but for all the features it has, I am fine with that. The Pro's of this headlamp are its brightness, chargeability, ability to adjust the light beam between high, low and strobe. As well as a wide range of pinpoint to wide spot, by pulling or pushing the lens out or in. I also like that you can adjust the angle it shines and that adjustment is rather "tight", so it stays locked in. For people new to headlamps, you do a lot of quick adjusting by moving your head and neck. When this is set in wide mode, everything out in front of you is well lit, so no real need to move your head/neck to direct the light beam. Back quick to the brightness. So while I was testing this out and shooting the last 2 pics, I spent about 10 minutes in a completely blacked out basement, with the only light on, the headlamp. When I finished up, I walked towards the door and as I was leaving, reached down to the light switch, to turn off the lights. Now maybe habit, but it was also bright enough in the room with just the headlamp on, my brain was fooled into thinking that I had to turn the lights off. The Con's of this headlamp. Heavy and bulky. Wish the back was padded, its a bit uncomfortable after awhile. The headlamp gets pretty warm to the touch. It works over the top of a baseball cap, but not really an ideal fit. Better to wear it under the hat and deal with it under the brim. That said, the strap could be bigger, meaning able to adjust out further in size, this one is rather limited, but at least it is a wide band, as well as stretchy. All in all, I think this is a good value. I could see it being great for camping and those walks into the woods at night, as well as night fishing. 2 Thumbs up for brightness and rechargeable. ... show more

This is a very nice, bright lamp. It is a bulky frame but it works very well. The adjustable light cast works very well and it can illuminate large areas.
