Packaged in a 65-ounce box and sold in a convenient 4-count bundle, it’s not just a great value—it’s a powerhouse of cleaning potential. Right off the bat, I appreciate that the packaging tells you exactly what it is and what it does, and it’s been around for over a century for a reason. This isn’t some fad cleaner that’s going to disappear in a year—this is an OG multi-tasker that’s stood the test of time. Now, there’s many ways that I use this product which is why it’s become my go-to for everything from laundry to pest control. Yes, it’s that versatile. I use this often in my laundry room to brighten, boost and strip my garments and houseware items. That’s why I fell in love with this in the first place. My son is an all tri-athlete and it was always so hard to keep his baseball uniform clean. That’s when I first discovered this product and I’ve never looked back. Its ability to brighten and refresh clothes —especially whites is what sealed the deal for me. We all know how frustrating it is when white t-shirts, towels, or bed linens start to look dingy or gray over time. I just toss in a scoop of this with my regular detergent, and it’s like I’ve hit a reset button on my whites. They come out looking fresher, cleaner, and just overall better! I also use this for laundry stripping, particularly my pillows, blankets, and towels. The product came in which the seller made it correct and I give them 5 stars to the seller. I just learned of using Borax. It seems to do its job along with washing detergent and fabric softener. The washed items seem to be brighter and also have a fresh scent, I used the Borax on a helmet liner and I could say I am pleased. The price was reasonable and it’s a plus to have the sweaty head scent out of the helmet. It’s like having an all new helmet, fresh with bright colors. This might be a new thing for me on washing clothes and other items that goes in the washing machine.

Borax is a great all-around product to keep at home. I’ve used it as a laundry booster, for general cleaning, and for several other household cleaning jobs. It works very well, especially on odors and tough cleaning tasks, and a little goes a long way. It’s also inexpensive compared with many specialty cleaning products. Simple, effective, and versatile. Definitely something I’ll continue to keep around the house.

It's amazing how much better my wash is with this product. I use 1/2 cup, in addition to Tide. I didn't believe any product could cause the wash to come out looking better. I recommend this product. It's also the cheapest for some strange reason.

This affordable powder will outperform many products you purchase anywhere from 10 times to 100 times for less money. #1. Removing stains. I had an oil stain on some pants. I washed them with regular detergent about 20 times with no improvement. I tried spot treatment with baking soda, soaps etc nothing worked. I spot treated with borax then out it in the regular wash and the oil stain is 100% gone. Not almost gone but can't tell it was ever there. #2. Kills weeds even poison ivy. I posted some pictures of how this worked on weeds and poison ivy. I just mixed some borax in how water with some soap and then sprayed it on the leaves. It takes about a week to see the results. The pictures I took are about 1.5 to 2 weeks after spraying the poison ivy. #3. Kills bugs. Works really well for this at a fraction of the cost of bug killer. Just mix some in with something sweet. Honey, corn syrup etc and when the bugs eat it, it's over. Also, it works really well for things like carpenter ants because they will take this mixture back to the queen and it will kill the entire colony. #4. Preserves wood. Just recently learned this can be used to treat wood to last longer outdoors. It looks to be more effective than most of the stuff you buy in the store to treat decks, fences, etc. There are many uses for borax and even just one would pay for itself. Not only does it have all these uses but does all of them extremely well. This is a must to have in your home.

Borax is fantastic for so many things. Great laundry booster. Makes whites whiter too. Sprinkle it around the outside of your house and never have ants inside. This product is great, have used it for years to clean laundry and remove oil stains on things and is gentle on skin when used with detergents. This is the second time I have ordered this product from Amazon and the only down fall is that a good big of it winds up in the packing box bc it gets tossed around a lot. Would recommend them placing it in plastic bags or vacuum seal it.

I’ve used Borax for years to boost my laundry detergent. It dissolves easily and helps my clothes look nice. It’s also a natural and unscented product. So it’s safe to use even on baby clothes. Just shake a large handful in your washer before filling.
