Directions: Place your aquarium on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Rinse the tank with clean water—no soap. Install your filter, heater, and other equipment but don’t plug them in yet. Rinse your gravel or sand, add it to the tank, and arrange decorations. Slowly fill the tank with dechlorinated water, leaving some space at the top. Plug in your equipment and set the heater (if needed) to around 74–78°F. Let the tank run for 1–2 weeks to cycle before adding any fish. Use water conditioner and beneficial bacteria to speed up the process.
