These stands are really great for holding your fake nails while you decorate them. I simply don't have the time to sit around with wet nails waiting for them to dry, so I like to do fake nails that are already decorated and use glue or adhesive tabs. Plus, the nails can just sit on these stands for hours until they dry if need be, while you go about your day, then you can periodically do multiple coats / decorations. These do not come with putty, what I do is to take a little tape and roll it into a thin roll. Then I can just stick it onto the stand and the nail stays just fine. Just be sure to roll the tape thinner than your nail so it doesn't get painted with the nail. The magnets work pretty well. They are strong enough for me to paint the nails while still on the stand, and then I usually take them off to do any fancy decorations. All in all, this is a really helpful product! I used to do something similar to this using double sided tape on those small wooden nail sticks. That worked okay too, and didn't cost anything. But I do like these better because the nail stands are easier to position straightly for a neater looking painting.

This setup is really nice. I love that each stand is magnetic so you can separate and manage each nail as you go. I only wish it came with it's own adhesive. I've been utilizing the spare adhesive strips from old nail kits which work fine.

These make doing my non-dominant hand SO much easier, and fit nicely under the UV light fixture. They're a bit lightweight, but I'm not doing it as a business, and it's perfect for me! Magnets could be stronger, but I just have to pay attention to what I'm doing. LOL

The paint chips off the top on some of them, but if you seal it before you use it with maybe gel topcoat it could be fine. Otherwise its great for what it is.

In a nail group I'm in, we have to follow a certain theme. For me it takes time to do certain things step by step to finish it. The stands let me have something for the nails to sit and dry until I'm ready to do the next thing. Same for extravagant looks. One time (the purple one) I had to magnetize each nail, which takes several minutes, before using a top coat and then adding other things for the design. Sure I could have did it on my hand, but the stand made it so much easier to do because I had both hands free to complete each task. Whether I'm freehanding something or just trying to place something in the right spot, the stand helped.
