We ordered these to attach a kayak to our dock. Generally we lift it out of the water and wedge the kayak between two dock poles. While secure, we were looking to keep it in the water for the convenience of using it on and off throughout the day. When we ordered it, we didn’t realize these were as strong as they are. We used one to the tie the bow of kayak to one cleat and the other to tie the stern to a second cleat on the dock. The rubber helps shield the kayak from getting scratched up against the dock. We are extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend them to anyone.

The dock line is well-built and includes a nice stainless steel clip. The added foam padding is also a nice touch and protects your boat from marks caused by line rubbing. The length is good and works well if you are tying off on a dock and want to avoid dealing with long lines. The bungee feature is nice, especially when you are tied off, and excessive boat wake starts to shake your dock!

Originally, I had purchased these to moor my dinghy to my boat. However, they're not quite long enough to reach the cleats on the dock. So I repurposed them. I am now using them to hang the fenders on my boat. Depending on the dock where I'm located, I attach the clip to the fender and use the other end to tie down to my cleats or stanchions. There's a small plastic tube you can slide on the eyelet side of the cord to shorten or lengthen it. Works great. The clip is stainless steel and the spring has just enough tension to keep from coming loose but it's still easy to open up. Also, it has foam handles that provide flotation to keep it from sinking. All-in-all, a pretty good bungee cord for many different uses. Recommended. My rating method: 1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it. 2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk. 3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it. 4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it. 5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

Love using these lines when it's only myself at the boat launch. very easy to use and keeps the boat nice and close to the dock.

The dock lines would probably be best suited for securing a fender or something to the side of the boat. I plan to use them for securing my jet ski to docks when visiting and they are not on the hoist. The bungee is really good and it seems very well made. I won't have to worry about them breaking or anything.

I ordered this set of 2 PK Black Bungee Dock Lines to use for securing my floating platform alongside my dock. The bungee core keeps the platform close to the dock, while also allowing the line to stretch when needed (due to low levels of the lake water). Note that the rope material used in these bungee lines is propylene (not nylon - which is higher quality). The design of the lines has some nice features, incorporating foam sleeves for flotation and rope ends that are either looped (for easy, secure attachment to a cleat) or have a heavy-duty stainless steel clip. So far, these have been a great alternative to just using fixed-length lines. Two thumbs up.
