I used this to do all the trim caulking in a garage addition - and there was a lot of it. At least several hundred linear feet around shiplap trim, window casings, etc. These tools are great for putting consistent shapes into your beads. I was mainly using the 90* section, and it held up fairly well. I did have to smooth out the edge a little, but that's to be expected with that much use. I also found that dropping the tool in a cup of water after I was done helped to keep it clean until the next time it was needed. ... show more

You can see the difference in the two pictures. The ugly line is with my finger and accompanied frustration/cussing, the smooth beautiful line was with the tools. I purchased these tools with a second spreader kit. As soon as I got the kits I could once again be a perfectionist. I love being able to make different size lines. Highly recommend cleaning your tools often, and dunking them in a bowl of soap water to reduce sticking. ... show more

I just caulked two sinks and they turned out great. It was super easy as well. I saw reviews talking about durability but mine seems fine so far. Maybe a pro would wear this out quick but it seems great for a DIYer
