I grabbed this to make my own reed diffuser blends, but DIY diffuser oils turned out to be trickier than I expected! I ended up opting for pre-made blend and it's been great, throwing scent nicely. The bottle is small, simple, and elegant, with shorter reeds that give it a dainty look. It's perfect in my bathroom, where I can't keep real plants, and the eucalyptus actually adds a nice touch. I recently received this "Empty Reed Diffuser Glass Bottle, 50ml Scent Diffuser Empty Bottle with Sticks Eucalyptus, Fragrance Aromatherapy Essential Oil DIY Jar for Home Shelf Bedroom Bathroom Office Decor (D)" and while it does appear as advertised for the most part, it ended up feeling like a DIY project I would have been happier about if I'd gone to the craft store and selected my own components, individually. This product is a "reed" style diffuser bottle. It comes with the jar, its "cap" (which has a hole in it, so it's purely decorative), three diffuser sticks, and three artificial eucalyptus twigs. The packaged contents were bagged together and stuffed into a small box with no retail markings, so if you're sending this to someone as a gift, maybe check the gift wrap option. The diffuser comes with no oil, so you (or the gift recipient) will have to supply your own. I won't make recommendations here, but I have a pretty decent selection from which I can pull, and I'm happy to say that the one I selected is diffusing just fine with these reed sticks. I don't think the scent is as noticeable as when I use the same oil in a nebulizing diffuser, but it still works. Because of its size, this diffuser feels like a "thank you" gift, or something you might add into a "spa and wellness" basket or something. Personally, because of the bottle's size, this reed diffuser seems like it will need to be in a fairly enclosed space. I have had it in my office for the past few days, sitting in the window (see photo - "Sharpie" for scale), and while it does work, I have to be pretty near the window to notice the fragrance. It's more noticeable first thing in the morning, especially after a weekend, but I'm almost positive that the extra "oomph" is coming from lack of air circulation, not diffusion capability. I'm probably going to relocate it to my guest bathroom. It's a tiny space and there's not a ton of available surface area for decoations, so a tiny bottle like this one seems well-suited. This oil diffuser was priced at $9.99 when I placed my order and while I do think it's cute, I don't think I would order it again. If I'm ever looking for a "generic" gift or something, I'll keep this in mind. It's the type of product I like to keep in my "emergency gifts" box... you know, stuff that's good for everyone, isn't specific to anybody, and can be quickly wrapped or placed in a gift bag. Happy-ish to recommend.

Update: I ended up searching for reed diffuser refill bottles to fill this up with, and I stumbled upon a hundred various products that are the exact same or similar price as this one and much better quality and value. For example, most other similar sets come with a scent/oil to fill the bottle with.. and also 90% of them used real dried out plants or eucalyptus to help the scent diffuse more and also give a faint eucalyptus smell or whatever other aromatic plant they used. This product includes three tiny unusable wooden sticks and 3 fake wire and plastic plants that look like they were just cut off of a larger fake plant. Also, you can buy sets of larger sticks and dried flowers that also help diffuse scents on Amazon for like 2-3$ currently. After making this discovery it felt so silly to buy better sticks, buy oil to fill it up with, and then maybe even replace the fake plants as well.. I was contemplating on taking off stars for these seasons because although they do disclose what you’re getting with transparency, and it looks just like the images, it’s definitely not something I would recommend or ever order again especially since there are significantly better options. This is cute and it looks basically the same in person as the photos but I took off one star mostly bc it only comes with 3 tiny sticks and no actual oil. To be fair though the first word in the listing literally says empty so they weren’t misleading anybody lol. I think I was just expecting the fake plant part to be a little nicer or more unique looking. Honestly after getting this I realized you could prob just use any little glass bottle especially one left over from previous reed diffusers and put fake plants in it yourself. The little sticks it comes with also kinda suck lol.because they’re so short it’s difficult to turn them around when you want to reactivate the scent you’re using, and also it makes theb diffuser much weaker overall since there’s less surface area for the scent to travel along there’s and diffuse the smell into your home. It definitely gives the vibe of one of those little reed diffuser sets you’d buy from Walmart or Target except without the actual scented oil included. If you already buy diffuser oils in bulk then this prob makes more sense. I also didn’t really like how the fake plants flopped around in the bottle so I ended up putting a tiny piece of eraser inside the glass to hold the stems in place better. Overall though I still think it’s cute and affordable enough where I’m not mad abt it.

I've been loving these empty reed diffuser glass bottles! Even though they don't come with oil, I actually prefer it that way so I can use my favorite scents. The set includes a sturdy, thick glass bottle with a beautiful, clear-to-gradient brown finish, three black reed sticks, and three artificial eucalyptus leaf stems. The quality is nice, the glass feels substantial and durable, and the whole set has a classic, elegant look that instantly elevates any space.
