I used the 2 Piece Brake Caliper Hanger Hooks with Red Rubber tips on two vehicles for brake work last month, and they performed exactly as advertised. Was hesitant about ordering these for a wheel bearing job I was doing. Have changed several rotors, calipers or brakes where I fought with finding the right suspension of the housings with a coat hanger. When I decided to tackle my RV's wheel bearings, figured I needed something more sturdy than a flimsy coat hanger. These units are awesome. I did have hesitation about paying for something so simple, but I can't lie I kicked myself all day long as to why I didn't get these earlier. It made the job so much easier (and safer). No twisting of the brake lines and risking a fall and suspending from the brake lines. Highly recommend these, especially if you are doing a brake job with heavy duty calipers.

For DIY brake jobs, this just makes things a little easier, and based on materials, you shouldn't have to worry about it slipping or breaking. I feel it works better than a bungee cord or an old bent-up wire hanger.
