Building a stainless exhaust for my classic car. Painstakingly making sure I order only 304 stainless. These exhaust tips are beautiful and have nice rolled end. They are fully polished and look great. EXCEPT that they are made of 2 different metals. The 4in tip is in fact a quality 304 stainless. But, the reducer side that opens from 2.5 to 4in is not 304 but some other metal. I HOPE it's 409 stainless which but there is no telling without sending out a sample to someone in the know. I know this is the case as the 4in section is non magnetic as 304 should be. But everything that's not 4in is magnetic. Sad as it's a beautiful product. 2 stars just for the fantastic polish job and rolled tip end. 5stars if it was all the same non magnetic stainsless. ... show more
