Trying to keep up with the technology and fast charging units with evolving cell phone usage can be exhausting. As consumers we need a product that we can rely upon for the duration of the products, quality and serviceable life. The charging cable that came with my cell phone only lasted a few months before the heat and usage caused the cable to crack, therefore diminishing the capability to charge my phone. Excited to have a tent for cable that gave me some mobility, while my phone was being charged, enticed me to buy this product. However, looks and reviews can be deceiving. Using a 10 foot cable can compromise the integrity of the service and intent of the cable causing kinks and twist of wiring, reducing once again, the capability to transfer the charge to my cell phone. Though the intent is there I’m hopeful technology improves the quality of future cables to be more durable and perhaps coax cables , allowing more flexibility, diminishing breakage and increasing utilization, and the intended life of the product. Where are your options people and understand you get what you pay for but what you pay for should provide a service. ... show more

Purchased these while on vacation because I forgot my charging cord. Although I have only had these cords for a couple weeks, they have been great so far. They are very pliable, not stiff and are a good length for using you phone while charging. The ends are made with an extra rubber stabilizer between the tip and the cord, hopefully preventing the shorting out that occurs from cord stress at this point. Charging speed is great. I like the 10 foot length and it works as I expected after a few tweaks. The USB connector on both cables was crushed. I decided to try to fix them myself instead of returning them. I worked at it for a few minutes and got them to where they fit in the USB plug as intended and they work. The manufacturer should consider some kind of plastic cover over the USB connector to protect them from being crushed. ... show more
