I purchased this set as a birthday gift for my grandson after I’d purchased the exact same bat for all the grandkids to use when they’re over. He LOVES the bat and is having a great time practicing his hitting. It is the perfect size for a child, not overly heavy but enough weight to make it realistic for a younger child. We like the shorter length as well for the smaller kids. The bat is made well and my grandson particularly loves the colors (black and lime green accents).     • Pretty good beginner set
The ball and bat are good for a 7 year old beginner. However the glove did not meet my expectations because the bindings for glove fingers are very cheaply made. All in all, for the price, it is a good starter set.
