The new ipad screen is wonderful but like with any glossy screen, it is a fingerprint/smudge magnet. So, in the effort to protect the screen and minimize fingerprints on the screen, I got this matte screen protector. It offered a few benefits for my use, as a screen protector, anti-glare, no fingerprints, and matte paperlike finish when i use my pencil. This also has a blue light filter. As far a fit goes, it fit my Ipad Pro 11" (M4) well. It lined up properly and has a cutout for the front facing camera/sensor. Installing it requires some care. Like others install, you want to start with a clean surface and if possible, an area where there is less dust or air moving around to prevent dust getting to the screeen after cleaning. The kit comes with sticker guides to help with lining up the protector before applying it. I didnt have any air bubbles in the end, but had some dust that i had to go back into and take out. In the end, it worked out well. So be patient with your install. The screen protector is not invisible as it is matte finish, so you will notice that it is there when the screen is off and with the front camera exposed. I also noticed the it took away some of the deep black level of the screen, almost similar to turning up brightness on a screen. Something that i did get used to and for others that didnt know how it was before, it was not an issue. This is much rougher than the paperlike protector. If you like a lot of tooth, it might be just what you need, but it was too sandpapery for my taste when drawing. The brightness and clarity of the screen isn't impacted too badly, but it does make the screen look a little dimmer. Easy to install. Seems decent quality and good value for what it is. I recently bought my son a new iPad for college. I asked him to pick out a screen protector and a case for the new unit. He tells me that the new iPad has a new Apple pencil to make drawing on the iPad feel like drawing on paper. This screen protector gives the illusion that you are drawing on a pad of paper. The protector has the same feeling of resistance that you would feel when using a paper pad to draw on. I will admit that I'm not much of an artist, but I do feel the difference between drawing simple diagrams on his iPad and on my Galaxy Tab.
