Super easy to install. There is only one way for this to put on, so please follow the instructions, because I’ve seen other people report it not sticking properly. There is a seam on the bottom of the screen protector that should face in that helps it stick to the screen without the adhesive. I chose to not use the adhesive because I don’t want it to damage my screen. Having the privacy camera slider was a major bonus. You get two of them. I was trying to figure out how to put it on because of how small it was. I used one of the their “thank you” cards to assist with the placement. It does take some effort, but it works great. The privacy screen work great and there isn’t any glare either. I bought this version because I think the screen is took sensitive to put an adhesive screen protector. I'm very happy with this product! It works perfectly and was incredibly easy to attach to my laptop screen. I didn’t want to keep taking it on and off, so I used the sticky tapes included with the product to secure it permanently. It doesn’t interfere with closing the laptop—it’s slim and not bulky, so I’m confident it’s not damaging the hinges. The privacy protection is excellent. When viewed from the side, the screen is completely obscured. It works so well that a colleague once thought my laptop was off while I was typing and got very confused! The webcam cover also works well, though I did scratch the black paint slightly since I like to keep my nails long. Overall, this is a great value and a very reliable product. As described & does exactly what I need it to. I was afraid the paper-like texture would be off-putting, but it’s actually really nice. Really helps with fingerprints and smudges, too; you can still see some, obviously, but they’re not nearly as distracting as on the shiny screen surface. Also helps cut down on glare off the screen. I only have to take a star off cuz installation was extremely frustrating for me. I’ll fully admit it was partially user error—I ended up wasting one of the films because I was trying so hard to get dust out from under it, that I really badly creased the film & it caused an even worse bubble than the dust did. But even putting on the second one was difficult, and I *still* creased/dented the film a tiny bit while peeling it back to get rid of a particularly awful dust bubble. Basically, you have to make sure you’re putting the protective film on in a completely 100% dust- & pet hair-free environment, because *something* is going to get underneath it and it is incredibly hard to get out. You have to peel the file back and try to quickly get rid of the offending dust or hair before more inevitably sneak under; you only have the provided “dust removal sticker” to work with and it’s just not strong enough to pick up particles that are already stuck on the sticky side; and you have to do this without creasing, bending, or denting the film, which is really easy to do when you’re trying to hold it back and press the dust removal sticker hard enough to actually get dust off of the film. I bite my nails really short and they still managed to dent the film enough that it’s got a perma-bubble. Tl;dr it’s functional, good quality, and does what’s promised, but installation is tricky unless you magically live somewhere without even a speck of dust and no pets. ... show more

Attaches easily with magnets at the top, but no magnets at the bottom. This isn't usually an issue, but for me it's caused two annoyances. 1) If you have your screen partly closed (angle <90 degrees), the protector will "hang" and not stick to the screen. 2) Sometimes, if closing the lid slowly, it can hang and then catch on the keyboard a bit. Easy enough to just push it in and close it when it happens. They are minor annoyances, but enough to make the experience less than seamless, and make me wonder if I should consider another one. ... show more

It comes with accessories to help clean your screen before magnetically attaching your new privacy screen, and the installed camera block is perfect. Brightness at 100% you’ll be able to see some screen display but not clear enough for someone see exactly what’s on your screen. Why did you pick this product vs others?: works well as a privacy screen however my only gripe with this product is that it tends to fall off quite often. The reusable sticky grips don’t do a very good job getting the privacy screen to stay on my laptop screen. I do like the magnet gimmick though, makes it easy to take it on and off. ... show more
