These DrCarNow laminate floor jacks surprised me the moment I picked it up because it is very heavy which honestly made me feel even better about the quality. The quality of construction on these jacks is very good. The welding is solid and clean and the plating looks like it will hold up for many years. They look sharp and well built in person too. Nothing about them feels cheap. Once I started using them I realized how simple they really are and they make tightening up flooring so much easier. No more pounding with a rubber mallet to get your flooring tight because these do all the pulling for you with way less effort. I also love that you get two of these in the set which helps get the job done quicker especially in longer rooms. The size is just right and the fit against the boards feels secure. They grip well without sliding and the ease of use is honestly one of the best parts. You use it just like a jack and it pulls the boards together with real strength. They look and feel like professional tools and the heavy duty construction gives you confidence while you are using them. For the value is definitely there. These are well made and strong. The functionality is exactly what you need in flooring jacks and the durability stands out in every part of the design. I wish I had these with my first flooring project. What a time saver. When I first opened the box I was honestly a little worried they might be too aggressive for my laminate flooring. I was installing 8mm laminate boards, and since the wall I was working against wasn’t perfectly square (not a true 90° corner), I was concerned about damaging the boards. Performance After practicing with them a little, I realized they actually work very well. Once you get comfortable using the lever, they help pull the boards together tightly and make the installation process much faster and easier. The value for cost is right on target, definitely worth it to me! They saved me a lot of time and physical effort, especially since I don’t have the strength I used to for forcing boards into place manually. Included Gloves The set also includes thick cotton work gloves with good grip. I’ve washed them many times already and they’ve held up surprisingly well. ⭐ Bottom Line These flooring jacks are very effective tools for laminate or hardwood floor installation, but they are definitely heavy-duty.
