This cover is textured on the top, and the smooth underside grips very nicely to the appliance. Only problem is that the inside dimensions are 27", so the actual overall size is 27.5" on each side. They should have designed the overall size 26.5 x 27.5" and then it could be rotated to fit different machines. I regrettingly took off one star only because the dimensions are not accurate, but we love how well this one works; especially compared to other offerings. I have ordered a few of these silicone protectors, and have not been very happy with most of them. The main problem is that they do not grip the top of the appliance and end up sliding around, especially with the vibrations coming from the washers and dryers. Received this today and couldn't wait to do a review. I've had a few toppers purchased but the sizing always seems off. (these are no exception) but at least these fit, and with the embossed pattern it looks much better than the ones its replacing. One thing that doesn't match is the color, the picture seems a LOT more dark grey/black but what i received was a grey (thankfully it matches the other grey i have but i would have preferred that darker color. ... show more

I love that my 5 gallon bucket of soap doesn’t slide around all over the top of my washer anymore. Same goes with the spray and wash. It is a little bit bit bigger than the top of my Samsung frontload. But it doesn’t hurt anything I need to order another one for my dryer
