The plastic isn't anything special or particularly heady duty, but under the sink, it shouldn't see too much wear and tear. It's also very light weight, so without weighing it down, it's likely to tip over or tremble if it's bumped or moved. It works well for what we need of it, but I would have liked something a little heavier so it doesn't tip over every time I grab a trash bag from the roll. ... show more
