I like to save money. That's why I opted to try the BaYiToo C9345 ink maintenance box in my Epson ET-5800 printer. To save you reading through the entirety of my review, I'll cut to the chase. It performs like the OEM version, but at a considerable savings. This waste ink box comes in a 2-pack, which means I'll have another one ready as soon as the warning message from the printer pops up to tell me that the waste ink box is full. Removing the original waste ink box was a bit more challenging than I thought it would be. That's because the user manual for the printers didn't spell out exactly where the waste ink box is located. A bit of hands-on sleuthing revealed that it's easy to locate, once I opened up the lower level of the lid (below the scanning platen). In front on the left side is the waste ink cartridge. Depress the plastic tab to the left of the box to release the hinged catch. Flip it up and insert a finger into the "lip" of the waste ink box. Slide the box to the left and lift it up and out of the printer. Now insert the new cartridge, slide it to the right to engage, flip down the plastic catch on the printer, and gently close the lid. Your new cartridge should be recognized right away. Some online pundits recommend changing out the waste ink box every 90 days or so, in order to preserve the life of the printer. At the price of the BaYiToo cartridge 2-pack, that's an inexpensive way to ensure trouble-free printing and keep your ET-series printer operating at its best without waste ink ruining your print jobs. The kit also includes disposable plastic gloves and a pair of clear zip-type vinyl bags to keep the ink in the old cartridge from making a mess in your wastebasket. This is a well-made, easy to replace, and nice-priced item that I'll put on my shortlist to buy again. ... show more

When my Epson ET‑8550 finally told me the maintenance box was full, I ordered this replacement and was really impressed with how simple it was to swap out. My printer head clogged, so I had to use the advanced cleaning methods on my printer. This used a lot of ink and filled maintenance tank. These maintenance tanks are an exact fit for an Epson ET5850. I purchased two because I have to manually clean my printer head and then run the printer maintenance feature a couple of times afterward.
