I got this to black out my chrome trims on my jeep. It takes a bit of practice to get it right but like all skills, it has to be developed over time. Tip: cut out a piece and play with it just to understand the characteristics of the wrap.

Went on great! Must use heat to pull/form Wrap. Used a hair dryer for heat. Pretty forgiving as far as pulling it back up & relaying. No discoloration when stretching it.

Corners, Corners, Corners! You can't get the corners. I've tried and tried until I just said Forget it. I've got creative with it and it looks tacky. Up close it still looks like black tape far away it looks good. You need a lot more tools than what they give you. I tried and wasted a foot or two of this stuff to cover the chrome near my windows and my 2017 Ford Fusion. It's easy but if you want it perfect and this is your first time doing this kinda stuff (raises hand) you'll be at this for a least 2+ hours if not longer. This requires a lot of patience. I just decided to pay the money and have it done at a car wrap vinyl shop. I doubt anyone's is perfect, everyone's has some type of imperfection on it. ... show more

Have ordered before and everything was good This time the product was shipped in an envelope (offering no protection) and the roll was ding up. The worse part is the cutting line where they cut it. blade was either mis- aligned or dull. every time around the roll, there is a bad cut that doesn't line up. not usable. my right handed kid cuts better with left handed scissors!
