I actually don't use the overlap sections, I prefer butt welds so I can grind welds flat and pipe looks like one piece. I only used one box for my 72 Bronco with header 2 into one. I bought this for my 1974 f100 lwb single cab. It has a 390 with Holly long tube headers, this kit fit over the header flange perfectly. I used my 120v flux core welder with heat and wire feed about midway up. Only complaint is the the 180s are useless ( well, I did use them to dial in the welder...) and had it came with a section of pipe to swoop over the rear axle instead I could have run it out the rear like I wanted. Instead I 45ed in front of the wheels. For the price it's definitely worth it. Everything seems well made and fit together perfect. ... show more

Welds good, nice assortment of pieces. Bought 2 sets, one for an LS430 muffler delete and one for a dual exhaust w/H pipe for a 65 Falcon. Still have a lot left over for future projects. Rusts quick, clean well and hit with some high temp paint to avoid that.

Decided to rip me off this save me says it’s 2 1/2 inch it’s really 2 inch. The connections are 2 1/2 inch rip off. I want my money back.
