We just moved into a new place and all our dog does all day is bark at people she sees coming down the walk. So we ordered the Brown Balcony Privacy Screen to block her view. It is working! The screen itself was a little disappointing when it came out of its package. It was folding up, which left terrific wrinkles all through it. I wish they packed it rolled around a tube to prevent wrinkling. I left it unrolled overnight but there was no difference in the wrinkles; this kind of "fabric" is plastic-based so it is what it is. Most (not all) of the wrinkles aren't apparent once we stretched it out taught on the balcony rails. Installing it has been as good as we could hope. The top of our balcony railing is big; too big for us to wrap the zip ties around it (it's about 18" in diameter), so we chose to pull the privacy screen taught and wrap the zip ties around the rails, which creates tension horizontally but not vertically. It is working so far. For a couple of the rails I needed to lock two zip ties together to have the length needed (the grommet fell in between two rails, for example, so there was additional distance to reach a rail) to wrap it around. Because we're not tying the screen at the bottom - it is too long for our rails by a few inches, so we tucked it into the bottom of the deck out of sight - we've had plenty of zip ties to do this. The screen is more sheer than I'd like but definitely opaque enough to hide view from passersby of our balcony as well as block any clear view of them from our dog. I'd like to give this product 3.5 stars but I'm rounding it up to four.

I am kind of a live in the woods kind of girl. But work has brought me closer and now Iโm a live in a neighborhood in the woods. Still not a lot of privacy and lots of neighbors. So this is just what I needed and Iโm super thankful to be able to sit and enjoy the outdoors without having to wave at everyone who drives by.

This privacy screen was up in less than10 minutes. It came with a package of clear zip ties for attaching to the fence. It looks brown from a distance even though it is woven from brown and black materials. It has silver grommets. This screen is a real asset for providing instant privacy. Highly recommended.

My two small dogs and the neighbors two huge dogs are in the middle of a life long territory war over our shared fence line. The beg at the door to go outside, sprint for the fence line, hit the fence at full speed jumping and barking and causing a lot of commotion. Then I go outside and yell at my dogs, the neighbor comes out and yells at their dogs. Then we repeat again in 30 minutes. Itโs exhausting. I am also a gardener and love spending the entire summer in the back yard or atleast with the door wide open. I got this privacy screen hoping to minimize how much the dogs can see each other, in hopes they would eventually forget about each other. Unfortunately, this has done little to remedy the problem. When the sun is shining on the privacy fence, you can see straight through it. In the shade of the afternoon, itโs a bit more opaque but you can still see pretty clearly through. It is also not very tall. My small dogs can stand on their hind legs and see over it, the neighbors large dogs heads are higher than the privacy fence. On a positive note though, my dogs have jumped and clawed on this privacy fence hourly for over a month now and there is no viable wear and tear on the product.
