We got this car for our 4 year old son and he absolutely loves it! It is visually appealing, especially to our son, who really likes its Tesla inspired design. The headlights and LED lights on the wheels are really cool to look at when playing with the car in the dark. What sets this RC car apart is its extraordinary ability to rotate in place, eliminating the need to move forward or backward to adjust direction. The "drift" capability is super cool, allowing for drifting in various directions—a feature that both kids and adults find pretty cool. Navigating the controls is straightforward, making it easy for our little one to handle. Unlike other fast-paced RC cars, this one strikes a perfect balance, ensuring a thrilling yet manageable speed. The unique "turning in place" feature adds to the ease of maneuvering. Adding to the excitement is the simulated exhaust smoke, achieved by adding water to the designated compartment. While I was initially concerned about water spray, I was pleasantly surprised that it really just releases vaporized water. Battery life is commendable, offering around 45 minutes of playtime, and the inclusion of an extra battery ensures continuous fun. Charging takes approximately 2 hours, which isn’t a horribly long wait. A couple of considerations include the non-adjustable speed, but given the overall fun factor, it's a minor drawback. The sound effects, though entertaining for kids, can be a bit loud for parents—fortunately, there's a convenient sound-off button. Occasionally, we noticed small puddles of water beneath the car after filling it for the exhaust effects. This may be due to prolonged non-use, but it's a minor concern. While the diagonal drifting controls could be more intuitive, requiring a bit of practice, it doesn't overshadow the car's overall uniqueness and entertainment value. I would have set up the drift control buttons in an upper left, upper right, lower left, and lower right fashion rather than the current up, down, left, right configuration. In conclusion, this RC car has brought hours of joy since Christmas. Its distinctive features make it a standout choice, and I recommend it for an exciting playtime experience.

Maybe I’ve been living under a rock but this is the first time I’ve came across such a neat R/c car! My almost 5 yr old nephew had an absolute blast with this thing. It’s safe to say this has become one of his favorite toys.

The media could not be loaded. My 8 year old son used his Christmas money to purchase this car. I was leery because there were no reviews and Amazon was offering a 40% off coupon. We were pleasantly surprised how this toy functioned exactly as described. The”exhaust”, created by using regular tap water, is a neat effect. All the guys in the house are taking turns playing with it now lol.
