This is a beautiful compact aquarium for a great price! The glass thickness and quality is exceptional, the rimless tank is meticulously assembled. The footprint is 7”x 7”, it’s perfect for small spaces. The equipment included is good! The LED light will work with a timer for turning it on in he morning and off at night. (I use Alexa friendly smart plugs on my tank lights) The waterfall filter is really sturdy and super quiet. The control for water flow is the best I’ve ever seen on a nano filter. It can be adjusted slow enough for a betta! It also includes parts for a protein skimmer for use with salt water set up. Included are two filter cartridges for so you can switch them in and out as needed for cleanings. There is room in the tank top for an air line if you want to add aeration. It wouldn’t need much, it is only 2 gallons! The only complaints I have are: *This set up is missing is a heater and thermometer. Heating is absolutely necessary keeping tropical fish such a betta or guppies, etc. I purchased an Aqua Miracle 15w mini heater (ASIN B0FBRX4FC9) It takes up little room and will keep 2 gallons of water at +75ºF with ease. (This tank is too small for cold water goldfish so don’t even try!) *There’s no manual included for setting up this tank. This could make it difficult for a beginner. *The light and filter are USB powered. There weren’t any adapters supplied to plug them in. I suggest using a power strip with USB plugs. That way you can easily plug in the filter, light, and heater together. ... show more

Excellently and thoughtfully made! Strong glass, no leakage. The plastic top covers most everything with places for the included light and filter. There is a small space for your heater cord which you would buy separately and another small space where you could put a wire through or air hose if you wanted. The filter has a component called a surface skimmer which I did use but put a sponge over it. The filter intake tube is a clear plastic and comes in separate parts that you put together. You can leave the skimmer part off of it if you want. The filter also comes with two filter media slide ins: one to use right away and the other for a replacement. Very nice. I can't hear the motor of the filter at all; it is very quiet. I would love to see larger size tanks put out by these designers! ... show more

This fish tank is amazing! It’s the perfect size for a table, desk, or sturdy shelf. It doesn’t take up too much space but still gives you a beautiful little aquarium setup that really stands out. Setup was super easy. It’s lightweight and simple to move around, which made positioning it exactly where I wanted no problem at all. All the accessories that come with it make this a complete, beginner-friendly aquarium. You really don’t have to go out and buy a bunch of extra parts to get started. The filter worked right away and runs smoothly, which is a huge plus. And the light is amazing for such a small unit — it’s bright, clear, and really makes the tank look vibrant.
