Cheap and affective upgrade! I rent and my bathroom was looking a little ooglay. I have two mirrors and had a little bit of damage to the sides from previous renters I guess. This was a nice little update. Quick, easy to apply, lasts, I can spray water/product over it and it stays perfectly fine.

I was skeptical when I first received the product because I thought it looked a bit cheap. However, I used it around my bathroom mirror to get a more modern look, and was surprised by the quality and easy installation was and how durable it remains. I was worried that water splashing from the faucet could ruin the border, but it has held up strong for months with no signs of peeling. It is very thin and will look like tape when you get it, but it looks great and like real wood when installed. Perfect for a quick, but modern fix!

Looks good from afar. It is basically the same as the blue paint masking tape. It was surprisingly easy for me to put up. I was able to get it pretty straight — trick is to peel off the back slowly while applying and pull up and downwards on the tape to account for the irregularity of the mirror. Only problem is I wanted to wrap the tape around the mirror to cover the edges and those edges haven’t stayed flat. I used clear tape to try to hold those areas down but it’s still not quite as straight or staying down (see the humps on my third photo). Would be fine if you are okay with just taping the front side of the mirror and not wrapping the edges. At least I see the possibilities of a frame and will now get a real one. After 3 days, I was able to peel the tape off easily *Edit: The cost of the online stick on frames is outrageous so I bought another roll and did my mirror again. This time, I didn’t try to wrap around the edges. Because of the reflection, on the edges, there is an illusion that the edges are also black (but in my photo, you can also see the white paint that got on the sides when the previous owners painted the wall around the mirror). It has held up to me cleaning the mirror several times over the last couple weeks. Definitely need to make sure you tape it down as flat as necessary as liquid will get under the tape and make it buckle a little. For the cost though, if it starts to get ugly, I have extra tape to retape it better.
