The media could not be loaded. Adorable as expected! I love all Moxi products and this 6pack safety gear makes me feel secure while skating as I am a beginner and am still trying to find my balance. I ordered a size large and it fits perfect. I have thick thighs and calves and weigh about 180lbs. I had to get used to them at first as they do dig a little bit into my shins but it helps keep my knees bent while skating and I got used to them after wearing them for the 5th time. ... show more

Full disclosure, I did return these but only so I could snag a different color from a local shop. These are **THE ONLY** knee pads to fit fat folx. I tried other brands and they just didn't cut it. These have a stretchy sleeve across the back of the knee/inside of the elbow, plus elastic straps for security. I played softball for decades and developed some massive calves from it. I tried 3 other sets of pads that said they'd fit my knee measurements and couldn't get any of them over my calf. These are fine going over my calves and still feel secure around my knees. The Velcro on the elastics does get a bit pinchy/scratchy if you're not wearing pants/long sleeves. For me, the wrist guards are too big but they still stay on securely. The upper part of the elbow pads sleeve is a little more squishy than I'd like but it's the best fit by far compared to any others I tried. The colors are vibrant and fun - perfect for roller skating! The plastic shells on the knee pads are really, really bulky. I feel like I'm not supposed to straighten by knees behind them. Mostly though, I'd just like them to look more like regular slimline skate pads. Overall, I'm super happy with this set. If you're a bigger skater, definitely give these a go! I will also encourage Moxie to expand the size range, expand the variety offered in Thick Set, and to slim down the shells :) ... show more

Super cute and great for thiccc legs. My only complaint is the thickness, like if you fall you won’t notice because they’re so bulky. They definitely protect you and get the job done. I am a size 16/18 pants and orders the Lg/Xl and they’re a perfect fit.

For reference, I'm 5'1. My knee is 13 inches, elbow 8 inches, and Wrist 7 inches. I measured myself exactly like the size chart suggested. I ended up purchasing the small/medium and it fits great! I'm a beginner roller skater and I'm so glad I got these. I already fell really hard and of course I did the one thing your not suppose to: I put out my hands and Wrist to stop my fall. The good thing is that nothing happened to my wrist! If I didn't have the wrist guard on for sure I would have broken it, but thankfully I wasn't injured. Also, if you're a beginner like me, don't be shocked my the massive size of the pads. They look crazy big when you first unbox them but once they are on they'll look a lot better. The knee pads and elbow pads consist of a sleeve and Velcro fasteners so you can adjust the fit. The knee pads also force you to bend your knees. This is good. Your knees should be bent while skating. Hopefully this was helpful. Happy skating everyone! ... show more
