So I moved into suburbia last year and I had no idea how serious people were about their grass upkeep. I can't say that I ever cared about my grass but living in a subdivision where everyone else is looks like a golf course makes you take a second look at your own. So I started doing some research and it turns out that even though I have tiff tuff Bermuda that can pretty much grow on concrete it still needs to be aerated. I threw some seeds down a few months ago and most of them ended up not sprouting so I was wondering what I did wrong and it turns out I should have used one of these and aerated my lawn instead of just watering the heck out of my seeds that the water would just kind of sit up top it would have had much better absorption had I done this first. So anyway I've seen some pretty crazy aeration contraptions like even ones that you put on your feet, but this here seemed like the easiest and most sensible choice that wasn't going to have me stomping around the yard looking like I was trying to kill cockroaches. I was right in that this was a very easy to put together and even easier to use. It doesn't take a lot of pressure and it starts making holes just by rolling around, you can either push or pull it and it took me 5 minutes to do my entire big backyard. In fact it's so effective that I'm actually going to bring it to my Airbnb to aerate that lawn as well. I don't know who I have become that I actually say things like this now and know what aerating the lawn even is, but if you are like me and you are new to suburbia or you just really care about your grass then you need one of these.

I got this tool to help get my yard ready. The Rolling Lawn Aerator only took me a few minutes to assemble and put together. I like that this kit comes with all the bolts needed for the assembly. After the assembly, I filled the tank with water which gave it some weight. The Rolling Lawn Aerator was pretty easy to push around my yard and it really did make holes. The handle screws together and is pretty thin metal but still works well. I like that I can use this on my yard and I can either push or pull it around the yard.
