This rock light kit works flawlessly and delivers very bright, clean white light, but it is a bit on the expensive side. Keep in mind that installation requires drilling into your vehicle and having the right equipment to safely raise it. If you don’t have the tools or experience, I’d strongly recommend hiring a professional. This 8-pod LED rock light kit puts out a lot of bright, clear light at standard vehicle voltages (12V, 13.6V, and 14.4V DC). I plan to mount them on my equipment trailer to make nighttime loading, unloading, and reversing much easier. I included pictures of the lights running at those voltages so you can see the amp draw for reference. The lenses don’t have any protective film, so they arrived scratched from rubbing together in the package. The area where the wire enters the fixture also doesn’t look very well sealed, though I didn’t disassemble the pods to confirm how they are sealed internally. That raises some concern for long-term durability in wet conditions. Being that these are marketed as “rock” lights, I’d be concerned they won’t hold up well in rocky terrain, and I don’t think they would last long in sandy or muddy environments either. The kit includes a 1-in, 8-out splitter for wiring, four extension cords, screws, and double-sided sticky foam pads, so you get flexibility with installation. It also comes with a simple on/off button for control. The lights are bright, but the shine angle isn’t as wide as advertised, so coverage is more focused than expected. The extensions help, but depending on the vehicle size, the wiring may still be a little short. If you’re comfortable with DC vehicle wiring, you could cut the connectors and run your own extensions to reach further. Overall, while the brightness is good and the kit has some useful parts, the lower quality build makes the value questionable. ... show more

I installed this 8-pod white LED rock light kit on my 4Runner, and it has added some real visual flair. The 6500K pure white light is extremely bright, covers a wide angle, and eliminates blind spots under and around the truck. Whether I’m on rough trails, a muddy road, or just backing into a dark driveway, these lights provide the kind of visibility you normally only see in high-end setups. The IP68 waterproof rating is legit. Went through a car wash with zero issues. The sealed design keeps dust and water out, which is critical for anyone actually using these in off-road conditions. Installation was straightforward thanks to the plug-and-play connectors. It comes with a switch, fuses, heat-shrink connectors, and long extension cords, so I didn’t need to buy extra parts. The wiring is simple enough that even if you aren’t an electrical pro, you can get this set working in under a couple hours. While these are marketed as rock lights, they’re versatile. I’ve already used them as work lights while camping, and they’d easily fit ATVs, boats, golf carts, or trailers. Basically, anything 12V can run them. Be aware of local laws, these are intended for off-road use not on regular public streets. Overall, this seems to be a durable, high-quality kit for the price. The media could not be loaded. I love Rock lights in general. Rock lights can add serious attitude to your ride. I received the 10 pods rock lights. Before I install any products on my 2024 Bronco they have to impress me right out of the box! Let me say these lights did not disappoint. The pods are constructed with casted abs plastic. One piece construction is the key to a properly sealed pod. The lights are super bright. There are so many light color and pattern options, you will be shocked! The cables are long amd they have added extensions just in case! The remote control has a ton of controlling options. The app is easy to install amd function flawlessly. I intend to install these lights on my 2024 Bronco. The only drawback and reason for my delayed installation are the included self tapping screws. I dont want sharp pointed screws in my wheel wells for obvious reasons. Secondly they can easily work loos in soft wheel wells. I prefer machine screws woth lock nuts or nuts with lock washers. ... show more
