(This review is for the Blank notebooks) Very happy with these notebooks! I agree with the other reviewer in terms of the quality of the interior pages. The surface has just right amount of tooth for pencil writing or drawing, but not so much as to be too coarse for other implements such as pens or markers. The overall quality feels good! I also tested it with a Pentel Sign Pen (marker) and I found no show-thru. As for the cover, I suspect the stock is #80, perhaps a light #100? I wish it was perhaps a little more robust but goodness, for the price, the current stock is fine really! The one thing I’d wanted to especially mention is just how beautifully these notebooks were packaged and presented! This set of a dozen book were wrapped and protected in cello as a set, but they were then further protected within a nicely designed zippered exterior paper outer envelope! It was really such a pleasure to unwrap this purchase; almost like a gift really! Much applause and appreciation to the packaging designer! I think I shall be ordering more in the future! I bought these for a Nature Journaling class I taught for fifth graders. The covers were durable and the paper was a nice quality. Some kids used both sides of the paper and that was not a problem. A bit of tooth for drawing media but also did okay w/ a little water as well. Excellent choice for the price and I plan to order again for my next class. ... show more
