Excellent running shoes for kids. These is one of the few kids shoes that are good for running and don’t have flimsy tops. I was glad to find this model after my kids destroyed the tops of other running shoes in no time, and also didn’t like the canvas ones I bought after that. They have used this model and the one with the alternative closure (Velcro strap) for more than a couple of years now. The soles last just as long as the size fits. When time comes to replace these because of feet growth, they are not in a state that we would donate them - It’s straight to the garbage - but they never go bad before that time.
