I’ve had this product for a month now but I thought it would be goofy to write a review ten minutes after turning it on the first time, so I waited until I could put it to work for a while. I needed a 16 line laser instead of a 12 because of the lower horizontal line option. With the lower line and using some DIY height markers (PVC pipe couplings with added ⅛ inch markings) I was able to identify suspected high spots on my floor and level things out. Then when I came to my floor tile laying job, a vertical line served as a guide as I put down my rows of tile. I did the home tiling project myself. I am no professional at this, but taking care to lay a good laser line for each row as a guide, when I got to the other side of the room everything was spot on. So, if you’re doing a tile project a good laser is a wonderful tool to have on hand. I don’t know what the lasers out there costing 2 to 3 times as much offer that this unit does not. This has been an absolute champ. I was tiling a large in shifts, and with just one vertical laser going the battery easily lasts through a 4~6 hour shift and part of the next day’s shift. Plus, it came with two batteries, so when one is low (the laser displays a battery percentage) I swap in a fresh battery and charge the depleted pack. When the fresh one runs down, the charging battery is ready again. It comes with a few accessories which, to be honest, I never used. Some seem better suited to a wall tile project than floor tiling. I did find it difficult to get the laser adjusted for the next row - slight turning of the base would cause largish movements of the laser across the room. Excellent indoors. Outdoors I found it's range less than 40 ft. Used white tape to every 5 ft which made the line show up very clearly within range. Had to move the level to reach full length for my barn. It was easy to move and pick up the the lines I previously marked and continue the level layout. The adjustable platform is hard to turn so I used paste wax on the thread and pivots to make it easier to adjust. Great having the spare battery to change out for longer use. I did a spot check using a bubble level and straight edge and it was right on! Overall a very good product and I recommend it. ... show more

Lets be real, a 4d green laser level under 150 is not going to be a high quality tool. Its very cheaply made, and like a lot of stuff out of China on amazon its made by some unknown company and rebranded and distributed on Amazon under many different names (this one is made by "Acesun") The instructions are useless, the app doesnt work and theres no mention of it in the instructions, had to find it in the product q&a and download a sketchy .apk from a chinese website by scanning a qr code on the remote, says its connecting but just beeps when you press the virtual buttons in the app, doesnt actually do anything. Accuracy seems decent enough, specs for that vary between the listing on amazon and the instructions, mfr lists it as +/- 1mm @ 7m, ad says both 1/9" @ 7m and 0.1mm @ 7m. Overall good enough for 100 bucks but I dont expect it to last long, has about the quality youde expect at the price, I knew what I was getting into so I wont go on a tangent about just how cheaply its made, especially the accesories. ... show more

My painter friend painted stripes up the wall, across the ceiling and down the opposite wall. She drew tick lines as needed and connected the dots. She started with a 6’, a 4’ and a 6” level but connecting the dots was long and fiddley. This laser was the perfect tool for the job.

Works fine just cheap plastic very fragile and the brackets are junk. Nothing holds firmly every thing feels like it's about to drop or fall. May return but good price for a laser
