  • MadYiboshi: Rotary Tool (Dremel-pattern) Keyless Drill Chuck & Collet Set (0.02in - 0.13in)
This product is a set of accessories intended for use with the Dremel-pattern rotary tools currently available. The set includes a total of fifteen (15) pieces and those pieces are: • One (1) Keyless 3-Jaw Drill Chuck (1/32-inch to 1/8-inch) • Two (2) Collet Nuts (Silver) • Ten (10) Brass Collets (Various Sizes) • One (1) Dremel-type Wrench for use with Collets & Chuck • One (1) Allen Key Hex Wrench According to the manufacturer-supplied information, the collets are sized as 0.02”, 0.03”, 0.039”, 0.047”, 0.059”, 0.07”, 0.08”, 0.09”, 0.12”, and 0.13". The two collet nuts appear to be identical. The Dremel-type wrench is designed to be used to tighten or loosen the collet nuts when used with the needed collets. It is also designed to be used for the installation or removal of the keyless 3-jay chuck from the rotary tool. Included with the set is a very small Allen wrench (described on the product’s Amazon page as an “L-shaped wrench”). I have absolutely no idea why this item is included since none of the items included in the set has any hex-type set screws that would require the use of the Allen wrench. I was very hesitant to order this product since it was not clear how the 3-jaw chuck was to be installed on the rotary tool. The inclusion of the very small Allen wrench on the product’s Amazon page further compounded the confusion. Nevertheless, I pulled the trigger and I am glad that I did. My main interest in this product was the 3-jaw chuck. I had one many years ago but it somehow disappeared. It is amazing how those things happen. I was never able to replace it with a new Dremel product from my local Big Box Stores. So, when I saw this product set, I was very interested. I have found that the 3-jaw chuck fits perfectly on my new Milwaukee rotary tool as well as my legacy corded Dremel tools. The 3-jaw chuck simply screws onto the arbor where the collet nuts normally screw on. The 3-jaw chuck is then tightened with the included Dremel-type wrench. I have tried the selection of collets and the two collet nuts, and they all work perfectly well with all of my rotary tools. I am particularly interested in the 3-jaw chuck because it makes it so very much easier to switch from one bit to another without having to fit a specific collet to the bit one needs to use. The 3-jaw chuck is very well made and very well balanced. It does make me very happy and I am satisfied to have found such a great accessory kit for use with my rotary tools for such a good price. ... show more

  • Perfect for the Dremel tool - small collet sleeves are a must
I often drill holes in printed circuit boards, and need to use sub-millimeter drill bits. Up til now, I used a dedicated stand I got years ago that had two collet sizes, one for above 1/16" drill bits and one for smaller bits. With this kit, I am no longer tethered to the old way of drilling, and can now drill holes as small as 0.008" with the collets in this kit. My picture shows one of the smallest collets holding a tiny bit, and I included a standard 1/8" mandrel for size comparison. First, everything in the kit fits perfectly with my Dremel 100, and the collets are high quality - no aluminum junk that allows bits to spin or gall. The drill chuck affords some range in bit diameter, but I prefer the 4 jaw collets for holding bits. It became clear after my first use that this is a keeper. The kit includes EVERYTHING you'll need to expand your micro and mini drilling. It also has a standard 1/8" collet, in brass, that you can use to replace the old aluminum collet that came with your Dremel. My only wish is that it came with some sort of organizer, but at the bargain price of $5.29, that is probably unrealistic, so I'll make one or 3D print one. Once again, this thing is perfect for Dremel use - I can't say if it will fit other rotary tools, but if Dremel accessories work with it, this will most likely work as well. A keeper! ... show more

  • Perfect fit on our little battery Dremel, collets are perfectly centered, chuck is very convenient.
Very nice kit, especially handy as I wound up with some bits that claim to be 1/8" but are actually undersized. The 0.13 collet holds normal bits well, and the 0.12 collet holds these undersized bits well. But I'll be leaving the chuck on our drill since it's battery-powered and doesn't go all that fast. The chuck closes as it threads onto the drill, so it's loose until you put a bit in, and fully tighten it down. There's no separate ring for the chuck as there is on full-size drills. Chuck doesn't close all the way to zero on our drill; it's able to do so but we'd need to put a washer or two inside. Collet sizes are not listed in the ad, though they're listed in one of the images. For reference, here's the sizes they claim: "0.02 - 0.03 - 0.039 - 0.047 - 0.059 - 0.07 - 0.08 - 0.09 - 0.12 - 0.13". I don't have any way to test these, but as noted above, the 0.12 and 0.13 collets fit nicely. The collets are made as hollow tubes, and machining is like 99% perfect. The gripper end of each piece is perfectly centered, but the big hole in the other end is slightly off center. This has no effect on operation, but might cause extra vibration on high-speed drills. Included vinyl pouch is nice but fiddly, I moved everything to a small plastic bottle to make it easier to sort through. Full stars awarded, very nice kit. ... show more

  • Gives the capability to run just about any size tool-shank my rotary tool can power!
So every now and then I run into some bit I'd like to run on my rotary tool (used to call everything a 'Dremmel' as thats what I used to have, but my current unit is a knock-off brand, but it works great and WAY cheaper than the name brand). Funny how many different size tool-shanks there are...apparently there's no standard. I even want to run tiny drill bits now and then, cuz the rotary tool is so much easier to manipulate in tight areas than a drill. This kit comes with one adjustable head (the black one on the right of the picture) that opens and closes just like a tiny drill chuck, perfect! I can run some pretty small bits in that! And occasionally I need one bigger than that tiny chuck allows, so I just find which of the 10 collets is the size I need, and which of the 2 tightener-head parts fit that particular collet and it's ON! Sure, it's not super quick to change out, but this kit allows me to run pretty much anything that the rotary tool can hold. ... show more
