Before this mod my scooter topped out at 14mph which was very slow, and after this carb and an exhaust (for a HPI 5B rc car) this thing sounds good and tops out at 21mph. Also used a muffler from Amazon to quiet it down. But in the photo you can see the intake size difference, much more flow. The air filter is ok, just be sure to oil it with air filter oil like the stuff from K&N. And the choke actually works really nicely as well. ... show more

Machining is nicely done, choke on/off has spring detents, this is a well-made little carburetor.

When to put everything together and it wouldn’t run, adjusted the air/fuel screw, nothing, took the choke out and runs amazingly ( if you do this you’ll need 6 more small washers like whats on the bolts)

If you know how to tune a carb on a two stroke, this is a great carb! Nice increase in throttle response and torque with this tuned pipe. Zero error racing silenced for gs460 engine. In case anyone’s wondering about the pipe. You will need a a circle type screwdriver to adjust the high fuel adjustment screw.
