Be prepared to assemble the press. The model i ordered does not come with a timer. The base is not the best and you will likely need to clamp it down to your work surface to prevent tipping ( I used the base from my older press). The temperature is average 20 degrees cooler than what the setting is, so buy an infrared thermometer if you desire a bit more accuracy. The platen does not in any way heat evenly.
