I recently renovated my kitchen and needed to install a new undermount sink under my new countertops. This sink is of a very solid gauge and it comes with a very solid drain kit. The undercoating makes it super quite and it provides even more solidity to the whole sink. It is heavy and super well built. The only thing I noticed is that it scratches easily, but seems to be the case with all sinks. This one is more shiny so perhaps that is why the scratches are more noticeable. I picked up this stainless steel bar sink for use in my wife's potting shed. It seems like overkill but while there are less expensive sinks out there they're also very cheaply made and I wanted something that was going to stand up over time. This sink is very high quality stainless steel with all the hardware you need for installation. Although lightweight, it's got a very solid feel to it. All the inside corners are curved for easy cleaning. The sink is amazingly quiet - the outside surface has been sprayed with a sound deadening layer and there are also damping pads on all sides and the bottom that work really well to reduce noise. That's not something you typically find on inexpensive sinks and is another reason this sink stands out. They didn't include an installation template. Instead, the instructions have you flip the sink over, trace the outline, and measure in from there to cut your hole with a jigsaw or router. I've not mounted the sink yet but I'm planning to mount some 1x2 to the underside of the counter as a guide for my router, drill a hole, and use a top-bearing trim bit on my router to cut the hole for the sink. Easy-peasy. The sink includes drain hardware. The drain has a removable deep catch basket and a removable stopper. The body of the drain is plastic with an integral 1-1/4" drain tube. The drain is sealed with silicone seals so no plumbers putty is needed - just insert and tighten the nut. My only complaint is that the drain tube extends just 6" below the sink. This is pretty short and because its integral you have to replace the whole drain assembly or modify your drain plumbing if it's not long enough. I did some comparison shopping before ordering this sink and I can tell you the pickings in this price range are mighty slim. For the quality you really can't beat this sink. ... show more

I can’t get over how nice this is for a small bar sink. The stainless brushed finish is superb and the hardware which comes with it is top quality. There is an insulating coating and deadening mats on the exterior to minimize clanking of dishes or water drops like you’d find in high-end larger sinks. I got this installed into an overlanding conversion this weekend and am extremely happy with it. ... show more
