This rake is exactly what I was looking for in a heavy-duty garden tool. The carbon steel construction feels durable, and the 16 tines do a great job at breaking up compacted soil, spreading mulch, and gathering leaves without bending or clogging. It’s pretty tall, which I appreciate—it makes the job much easier on your back and shoulders. Assembly was quick and simple. It took me about 5 minutes, and all the necessary tools were included in the package. The handle pieces screwed together securely, and everything felt stable once assembled.

This rake is useless. I was only trying to rake straw and had to stop every 2 to 3 pulls the tighten the handles. If I had tightened them any more the plastic sleeve would have broken. I own a farm and have several good rakes but they are heavy and I was looking for a rake light enough for my wife to use everyday to top dress stables. I should have listened to my brain telling me this was not going to work. People wrote reviews that seemed too good to be true, and they were. For the people writing reviews. Please if your not going to use a product the way it was designed to be use then do not write a review. Do not give a good review because something looks pretty the whole time it hangs in the shed and was not used. If you used a product and it did not work then say so. Do not give it 4 or 5 stars because everyone else did so you think you need to also when it should be 1 or 2. Do not give a good reviews it your not sure how the product should preform. People need reviews to be honest and correct if this system is to work for everyone.

I love this rake! You have to put it together. It comes in several pieces, but it's nothing too complicated. The positive is that you can adjust the length to your needs/liking. I love the handle that adds stability and makes the work easier. And did I mention how lightweight it is? I wish I had this years ago when I lived on a lake and I had to rake algae every day... it would have made my life so much easier!

I like this rake a lot. I'm tall and too often, garden tools have too-short handles. This one is nice and tall - a full 62"! If you prefer a shorter rake, you can omit one of the handle sections. The secondary handle is easy to install and adjustable (I like it about halfway up) and gives you a lot of leverage. The business end of the tool is very sturdy and can handle everything I threw at it. If space is an issue, you can break down the handle for storage. Overall I'm impressed.

The media could not be loaded. When I first opened this rake, I was moderately surprised I had to put it together - and it was so lightweight, I was questioning how durable or useful it would be. I was wrong. It’s really lightweight but easily pulled up tufts of weeds and thatch that we are trying to cleanup in our yard. The handle makes it comfortable to use and easy to maneuver. I attached a video of it pulling up some clumps of weeds. This is a great quality garden tool to have! It’s also very nice looking with the black carbon. Very pleased so far. We plan to put this to a lot more use on hard, unforgiving Texas clay here in the heart of summer so we shall see how it wears over time and report back in a few months!

This rake is sturdy and perfect for heavy yard work. The wide head covers a good area and loosens mulch easily. Comfortable to hold and doesn’t feel flimsy. A good tool to have for garden maintenance. I like how compact it is, I would recommend it for anyone who needs yard work done.
