This is not bubble wrap. Just an ordinary roll of thin plastic wrap. Maybe I was just unlucky and got the wrong order, but it’s utterly useless for packing fragile items, which is what I needed it for. I’m moving today and needed the bubble wrap immediately, so Amazon’s advice to “package it up and send it back to us for a refund or replacement” is not exactly helpful either.

Full disclosure - I'm writing this review based on filling up around 50 of these perforated air cushion "sheets". Should the quality degrade as I use more of the product, I'll provide an update to this review and a revision to the star rating. But for now, if you see no update, assume the rest of the roll is consistent to this review. Let's face it, there are quite a bit of choices on Amazon for this air cushion bubble film and the reason I went with this particular item is because the price for the single 984' roll is the lowest I found among all the sellers on Amazon. I get that price alone should never be a factor for purchasing something like this but I decided to take a chance given the mixed reviews that were available at the time and the fact that this was more than ten dollars less than the next comparable product. When I received the item, I was pleasantly surprised it how wide the physical roll is. Yes, the listing does state that it's 1.3ft / 40cm wide but I'm so used to using the usual 8"x4" air cushion film that upon receiving it, it just looked like two of the typical 8"x4" rolls stacked on top of each other but no, it's one wide roll. The next pleasant surprise came when I actually went to inflate these air cushions. I originally thought that the air chamber for the bubbles was shared among all the bubbles within one perforated sheet. In other words, I thought all the bubbles in one 15.8" x 13" sheet contained one air chamber so when one bubble got pierced, they would all get deflated. However, that is not the case. One 15.8"x13" perforated sheet contains 8 air chambers. Each row/column of bubbles is an air chamber and each perforated sheet has eight rows/columns of bubble chambers. So if one bubble popped, only that column of bubbles would deflate leaving the remaining chambers to still provide air cushion support. To extend on that, this means you can actually cut each sheet to a smaller size to fit your shipping needs. In many of my shipments, I don't need the whole 15.8"x13" bubble sheet or I might need half one one side of my product in the packaging and half on the other side. I can simply cut along one of the bubble rows/columns. For example, cutting it in the middle would leave me with two 15.8" x 6.5" sheets. Yes, that does mean I would lose one row/column of bubbles but I have that flexibility. So why am I only rating this four stars instead of five? Filling the air chambers was mostly successful. However, across the 50 or so perforated sheets that I filled, some of the rows/columns did not inflate as if, during manufacturing, the air chamber opening was sealed shut and did not allow air to fill it. Sometimes, there would be 2 or 3 rows/columns that had this problem in a perforated sheet. Aside from that problem, the chambers that did get filled with air sealed fine -- no air leaks. I always test the filled air on my air cushions by giving it a good squeeze and am happy to say, the seal was good across the board... none leaked/popped. Lastly, each perforated sheet is fairly lightweight but the film itself does not feel flimsy. When shipping items, I strive to keep the aggregate weight of the package to under 1 lb so my package stays within USPS First Class mail rates so lightweight is a good thing. Important Note: The air cushion machine I have has controls for temperature (for sealing the bags), speed, and amount of air. If you have one of the ubiquitous machines sold on Amazon that only has a dial for controlling the air and not the temperature and speed, I don't know whether or not your experience with this air cushion film will match my experience; just wanted to throw that out there. I say this because I used to have the latter machine that just had a dial for air (YE300 was the model number) and it was hit or miss on whether or not it would provide a good seal for a number of air cushion film I tried. TLDR; I would definitely recommend this air cushion film to anyone who owns an air cushion film machine that has temperature, speed, and air controls. I, myself, will continue to order more of these when I run low -- assuming the seller doesn't raise their prices such that the competitive price advantage is diminished versus the comparable products' prices.

I have the machine pictured. I had to adjust the rubber guide (where the film feeds between the Blade mechanism) by loosening the tension on it with a small Allen wrench. After that it fed through the machine very nicely. Prior to loosening the tension, the film jammed in the blade mechanism. It was too tight for the film to glide through smoothly.
