Very strong hold. Beware when you want to remove. I used blow dryer like they said to do and it did not remove the adhesive with the plastic part. I had to scrape the adhesive off with adhesive remover. Took some time and some elbow grease but I would buy again because of the strong hold. Very strong adhesive on the back and prongs are decent; just be careful when removing shelving to clean to avoid breaking prongs. Missing a star in the rating because I can't figure out how to remove it...that adhesive will last a LONG time!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was truly not expecting these to work - but dang! They’re great!! Only negative is there’s no extras if you mess up, but you can buy extra adhesive strips. They also look really nice.

I had these come before with a shower set I ordered and needed replacement adhesive because I moved. They hold up EXTREMELY well in the shower. Make sure you put them exactly where you want them because once you stick them to that shower wall, that's it. There is no turning back, lol. They work too well because they were impossible to remove at my last apartment. After searching the reviews of the product I purchased last time and removal of the adhesive strips, I found out the best way to remove it was with boiling water or a hair dryer - both incredibly time-consuming. And even while you remove it, the pieces tear whenever it is slightly cooler (so where the heat didn't penetrate). I was able to remove a few pieces before I gave up because there was also the issue of the adhesive/glue sticking to the wall after the plastic was removed. So, I did have to pay for removal, but it didn't bother me. Next time, I will remove them first when I move to give myself enough time. I would not suggest using these on walls with paint AT ALL.
