I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and sturdiness of this chain necklace. It's the perfect size for me, perfect for a pendant. It's held up through constant wear. I wear it all day long, every day, shower with it on and sleep in it. No problems at all. The lobster claw clasp is easy to work and much stronger than an o-ring clasp. It's stamped with 14k on a part of the clasp. This chain "glistens" enough to be pretty but doesn't distract from the pendant I wear. It doesn't tangle or catch in my hair or my clothes. I am still on the fence with this one only because I would like something a bit thicker for my cross. I like the length and it appears to be durable fingers crossed. The lobster claw is tiny however, I did not find it difficult to hold the loop to connect it which made me want to keep this one. I purchased the 1.5MM 24 inch and as you can see it hits mid chest. This is seriously the 4th product review I have ever done and I’m doing this to save someone else from my mistake. It looks like it came out of a quarter machine. Dental floss thin and so horribly constructed!! My goodness! It’s unfortunate that it was a Christmas gift for my teenager that will now have to be returned immediately. The pretty suede black box was the highlight of the package. Now here’s the worst part…. I test all jewelry for authenticity and it’s not even solid gold. lol… I have no idea how this is even legal to sell as real gold. SUCH A JOKE and they should be arrested for fraud!!     • Lobster claw closure very tiny. Is rather hard to maneuver with arthritic fingers.

It seems to be nice & sturdy so far. I do agree with other writers that the lobster claw closure is very, very tiny. Not sure at all why it has to be so so tiny. So far, that is the main negative complaint I have.
