Kind of a work–style shirt. But it was my favorite short sleeve casual shirt to wear untucked with shorts. Anyway, I've been trying to find a replacement ever since. I occasionally would find a decent similar shirt, but it was never as good. Usually, the sleeves would be too short, or the shirt itself would be too short. Or the fabric would be too stiff or thin. Well, I think I just found it in this affordable Amazon essential. I can't speak to its longevity yet, but I can say that it's a nice hefty fabric. It's good and long, including the sleeves. Holds its structure while still feeling soft and comfortable. This shirt is worth the money. Most shirts Ive bought from amazon, they tend to run small so I usually buy a size up. I generally wear a large but purchased an XL. It fits like how I would expect a XL to fit so you don't necessarily need to buy a size up with this shirt. I think I'm going to get another one at a large and see how that fits. The material is a little thick, thicker than I was expecting. like another reviewer said, the sleeves are a little longer than I would like. not sure if that would be fixed if I bought my normal size. the shirt is regular so it has a boxy shape, its not going to look fitted or anything. would be good if you like to wear a button down, unbuttoned with a t shirt under (you know that look) but all in all. it is a good shirt. I'm going to check the large to see how it fit and I'll probably buy 3 or 4 of them in the different colors to add to my work wardrobe ... show more

The material is wonderful. It’s soft, it has weight, and it’s breathable. Compared to other cheap oxfords I’ve tried on Amazon, Amazon essentials is the top. I like the striped pattern on what I got. Only two improvements I’d like to see are a bigger collar that can form a better roll and more patterns like gingham and plaid. I would highly recommend Amazon essentials ... show more

The fit is good, the fabric is soft, but it does not wash up well. It looks wrinkly out of the dryer, which a good quality shirt should not do. If you can only wear it casual, it's not worth the money.

What I do like about the shirt is it made of substantial fabric that feels thick. The color is a rich dark blue. The fit was a bit tight around the chest, (6' 200 lbs, somewhat developed). I don't like the way the sleeves puff out, they could be a bit tighter. I can wear most L size shirts, the way this is cut though an XL would be too big around the waist. It's more for average size blokes, if you are a bigger size "L" you may want to look elsewhere. ... show more
