Very happy with this purchase replaced a diamond cut chain with this box link because the diamond cut necklace kept getting my hair caught in it no matter what I did. As soon as I put this box link on no more caught up pulled hair. great necklace for the price.

This is a beautiful necklace. Box chains are usually not my favorite, but, I did choose this style due to the durability of it. What surprised me is the sparkle. I am impressed.

    • Good chain, but still pulls hair
I only wear box link chains like this one because I have incredibly fine hair that gets caught in other chains. My hair does get caught in this one, though not nearly as badly as other chain types (which will yank out entire locks if I have my hair down). In particular, the clasp links on this box chain like to grab my hair. (By the clasp links, I mean the single links connecting the clasp, not the clasp itself.) But this is good quality chain. The lobster clasp is solid and works well. It's stamped with 585 (14K gold) and LGD. I got the 16in length/1mm width because I have a small neck and like little dangly pendants. Update! I was able to receive a replacement right away. My mom was happy and so was I. My mom got to finally open her Mother's Day gift only to find a missing necklace and an empty jewelry box. How disappointing! Hoping the missing necklace gets replaced soon so I can update my review!

Excellent piece of fine jewelry, strong yet still very dainty & lady like. Lobster claw is perfect for easy on/easy off with security that an accident won't happen and I will lose my diamond pendant. Love this so much I am going to order another in 18 inches.
