Really, REALLY sparkly and shiny! Honestly, when I opened it, I was a bit disappointed because it was a lot thinner than I expected for the price. It's not SUPER thin, but it is thin. I have 4 other gold chains, and none are as thin as this one. But I really didn't know what a 1.1 mm chain would look like, I mean 1.1 mm IS pretty small. I opened it in my dark bedroom, but once I walked into my living room with it with the sun shining in my windows I fell in LOVE. This chain is by FAR the brightest, shiniest, sparkliest (not a word I don't think) gold chain I have. I am keeping it for sure, and happily! Oh, and it has a very small lobster claw clasp that I have a tough time working because it's small, I may bring it to my local jeweler and get a larger one put on...but if you are younger than 54, you'll probably do fine with it. ;) I added a pic of the chain, please ignore my old lady skin and my thyroid cancer scar...but hey, better old than dead!!! :D ... show more

Had so many issues with other chains breaking. Ending up scrapping the gold at the jewelry store due to cost to repair vs just buying a whole new one being the better choice. I bought this product in 2022 and as of March 2025 this chain has help up amazing (most likely due to the cut and style I chose/clasp) * I never take it off sleep, showers, and all: never have had an issue would highly recommend for an affordable durable chain 100/100! ... show more

Little thinner then i thought but not used to what 1.1mm looks like. Value is pretty much what is being charged these days. Hope it is real gold. Would have to get it tested to know for sure. Just received the 18" chain and I'm very happy that I ordered it. The weight is a full gram higher than stated on the sales page. Can't measure the thickness, but it is better than hoped for. The clasp is the smallest lobster clasp I've ever seen, but my fingers are small and I have no trouble. The mirror polish is great and the chain really stands out when worn. The chain is a box... and says 14k on it. It appears to be white gold - which is what I ordered. It has the lobster claw clasp which in my personal opinion is easier to use than the spring ring - but that is a personal choice. I was happily surprised that it weighed more than I expected. It has a slightly sparkly appearance because the "box" has shiny, reflective parts. I purchased the 18". It is as represented. I am pleased with my purchase.
