Although this is a very nice gift, I think it is geared more towards the younger teen generation. As you can tell in the photos, it has a lot of product and it looks very presentable in the gift box. However, mine came with a chip in the bottom drawer. I believe that packaging should’ve been packaged much better. This is a fantastic company to do business with. This might not be a professional art set, but for a child that loves to draw, color and paint, it is almost perfect. The box is very well made, the inserts that hold the pens, crayons, etc., is plastic and may not hold up forever - and things do fall out, mostly pencils, when the box is closed and moved a lot I expect - but that's a small price to pay for the joy of the child that is using it. The two pads are well made and the paper quality is good, and it is certainly worth the price paid.

Beautiful case filled with supplies for a young/child artist. The art materials are of cheaper quality but suitable for a kid. The handle of the case broke in the first day but we were able to glue it back on.

This is a great art set for children 6 and up at a reasonable price. If your little one has the passion to draw or paint this kit will definitely let his/her creativity grow. The kit has, sketch books, colors, crayons, pastels, watercolor, pencils, and a couple of brushes. It comes in a very nice wood box and it is not that heavy. Therefore, it is easy to transport.
